This method creates a new PLUGPIN.Receiver object. It expects an object with parameters.

The parameter object should be a normal key/value javascript object. It can have the following keys:

  • notification
    Specifies what kind of notification your app should display.
    Accepted values are 'none', 'small' or 'large'
  • name
    Specifies the name of the receiver, this is useful for apps that have more than one receiver, such as multiplayer games.

Code example

In the following example, a developer is creating a receiver for testing purposes. She has given the receiver a name, although this is not required.

    var receiver = PLUGPIN.createReceiver( {
        "name" : "test app",
        "notification" : "large"
    } );
